If you've done your "downward dog" yoga pose today, you're probably feeling more relaxed regardless of your level of yoga expertise, if you're practicing regularly, you can feel better from head to toe.
Modern life comfortingly attracts us. We suffer from hypertension, obesity and cardiac issues to make our lives easy and relaxed. Our nation, however, has high-tech medical facilities, but we continue to lead an unhealthy, unstable and stressful life. Yoga can bring peace to the mind, soul and body in this state.
The science of yoga is the ray of hope which illuminates our path with equanimity, peace, and well-being in the midst of modern atrocities.
Let's look into some of the facts about Yoga that does to our body, mind and soul...

It is one of the most significant advantages of yoga as you grow older. Poses where you are balanced on one leg and inversions are perfect ways to develop the core strength that holds you upright for more experienced students.

Yoga is known for its ability to ease stress and promote relaxation.
Infact, multiple studies have shown that it can decrease the secretion of cortisol, the primary stress hormone.
3. Increase Muscle Tone and Definition
You can expect to see increased muscle tone. Yoga helps shape long, lean muscles in your legs, arms, back and abdomen.
4. Teaches better breathing
Yoga breathing exercises, called ’Pranayama’, focus our attention on breathing and teach us how to take deeper breaths, which benefits the entire body.
5. Fosters Mental Calmness
Yoga also introduces you to meditation techniques, such as how to focus on your breath and disengage from your thoughts.
